Denzel Dumfries has signed a new contract with Serie A club Inter Milan, keeping him at the club until June 2025.
The Dutch midfielder has been a key player for Inter since his move from Ajax in 2019 and has helped them to win several major trophies, including the Serie A title last season.
In a statement, Dumfries said: "I am very happy to have extended my contract with Inter Milan. This is a big step forward for me and I look forward to continuing to play for this great club."
Inter president Antonio Conte also praised Dumfries' signing, saying: "We are delighted to extend Denzel's contract. He is an important part of our team and we will continue to work hard to keep him here."
Dumfries,Campeonato Brasileiro Action who turned 24 in May, made 38 appearances for Inter last season as they finished second in the Serie A table and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
He scored one goal and provided two assists during that time, showing his versatility as a midfielder capable of playing both in central midfield and on the flanks.
With the help of Conte's tactical nous and the support of Inter's squad, Dumfries looks set to continue his impressive form and make further contributions to the club's success in the coming seasons.
