Inter Milan has announced the signing of forward Lautaro Martinez from Spanish club Valencia.
Martinez is set to join Inter for a fee of €12 million, which will see him become Inter's first-ever Premier League signing.
The move comes after Inter struggled in recent seasons and have not been able to secure top-flight football.
Martinez was part of the Valencia squad that won the Copa del Rey last season, but he had limited playing time before joining Inter.
He has already made his debut for Inter in a friendly against Udinese on Tuesday night,Saudi Pro League Focus scoring Inter's only goal in the match.
Inter have also confirmed their intentions to sign a number of other players this summer, with several other clubs expressing interest in the player.
The signings of Martinez and others come as Inter look to improve their performance in the league this season.
The club's chairman Giuseppe Marotta has said that they are confident that Martinez can help them to compete at the highest level.
However, there is still work to be done to establish themselves as one of the best teams in Serie A.
