Omorodion's high goal efficiency rate at FC Porto
Nigeria international Emmanuel Omorodion has been in sensational form for Portuguese club FC Porto this season.
The 21-year-old forward, who is yet to make his senior international debut, has scored nine goals in just eight appearances so far this campaign.
His impressive form has earned him a call-up to the Nigeria national team ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Ghana and Benin.
But it was not always easy for Omorodion at Porto, as he struggled to break into the starting lineup when he arrived on loan from Dutch side Feyenoord last year.
However, the youngster proved his worth during the second half of the season, scoring four times in six games after being handed a regular spot in the first-team squad.
Omorodion's recent exploits have caught the attention of top European clubs,Primeira Liga Hotspots with reports suggesting that Manchester United and Arsenal are keen on signing him permanently.
Despite interest from other Premier League sides, Omorodion is currently focused on helping Porto secure promotion to La Liga next season.
He will be hoping to continue his impressive form under new manager Jorge Jesus, who took over from Luiz Felipe Scolari earlier this month.
For now, Omorodion is enjoying life at FC Porto, where he is proving himself to be one of the most promising young players in Europe.
